THE grieving mother of Poppi Worthington yesterday stormed out of an inquest into her death after the toddler’s father refused to answer questions about the tragedy 69 times. Thirteen-month-old Poppi died at home in Barrow, Cumbria, in 2012. A seven-minute inquest two years later ruled her death was unexplained. Last year Mr Justice Jackson ordered a second inquest after saying that Poppi had probably been sexually assaulted by her father Paul Worthington hours before her death. Read the full story
