
Ellie was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Middle Temple in November 2022. She completed the Bar Practice Course (Very Competent) at The University of Law, alongside a Masters in Legal Practice. Ellie graduated with a First-Class Honours Degree in Law with Criminology (LLB) from The University of Law, establishing a strong academic foundation.
Ellie began her legal career with Lancashire Constabulary, initially working within the Criminal Justice Unit. Her dedication and expertise led to a swift promotion to the role as a Police Prosecutor in the Road Traffic Unit, where she regularly appeared in Preston Magistrates’ Court. This role provided her with extensive practical experience in prosecution work and court advocacy.
Following the successful completion of her pupillage with the Crown Prosecution Service, Ellie joined chambers in January 2025.
Ellie is a confident and ambitious advocate, offering a friendly yet professional service. She accepts both prosecution and defence instructions in all areas of criminal law.
