Daniel has acted in significant crime proceedings, both as prosecution and defence counsel. He has developed a reputation as a hardworking advocate and has achieved impressive results for clients through both legally aided and private instructions in both the Crown Court and Magistrates’ Court.
Daniel has been instructed in a wide variety of offences, including:
- Drug offences
- Offensive weapons and armed robbery
- Offences committed in prison
- Football Banning Orders
- Driving offences
- Breaches of court orders.
Called to the Bar in 2025, Daniel joined 15 Winckley Square Chambers as a tenant in March 2026, following the successful completion of his pupillage under the supervision of David Traynor.
Before coming to the Bar, Daniel spent a decade in Public Affairs, where he held significant roles in both the public and private sectors. From 2017-2022, he worked as Chief of Staff in the House of Commons and later advised Members of Parliament in the North of England during the Coronavirus pandemic. Daniel’s transition to the private sector saw him advising national organisations such The National Lottery and the Rugby Football League on government policy between 2022 and 2025.
