Sarah-Jane Lee is a specialist family law barrister with over 20 years experience, practising in both public and private law.
In public law proceedings Sarah acts for local authorities, parents, children and intervenors at all stages of proceedings. She has experience of complex cases involving sexual abuse, physical abuse, non-accidental injuries, neglect, domestic violence and drug and alcohol misuse.
Sarah has experience in acting for parents with learning disabilities and mental health difficulties both directly and through the Official Solicitor.
In the private law arena Sarah is regularly instructed in difficult disputes between parents. She has significant experience dealing with matters concerning the living arrangements for children, including issues relating to education, relocation both domestically and internationally, as well as allegations of parental alienation and domestic and sexual abuse.
Sarah accepts instructions to represent children by their children’s guardian.
Sarah is vulnerable witness trained.
