Class A drug supplier sentenced to 17 years’ imprisonment

Holly Nelson has successfully prosecuted a man at Preston Crown Court for two offences of Class A drug supply.

Brian Williams, 50, was sentenced to 17 years’ imprisonment after admitting 2 offences of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

The offences came to the attention of Lancashire Constabulary following the penetration of the hitherto encrypted Encro phone system.

Williams accepted being concerned in the supply of up to 30kg of heroin and cocaine in the Merseyside, and Lancashire area.

The offences occurred between March and June 2020.
